Garstang Community Sports Club

Between 2024 and 2025 we embarked on an ambitious project to improve the facilities for our clubs at GCSC.

For many years, the Sports Club Committee were hard at work to look at how we could improve the out-dated and out-grown facilities at The Riverside.

In July 2024, we announced following 6 months of hard work that £547,032 had been obtained through grant funding and generous donations from our fabulous community and wonderful local businesses. We asked the community for help raising the remaining £195,702 for the remainder of the build in 44 days! Our community pulled together, and alongside some incredible work by our fantastic team of volunteers, we hit the target and the build went ahead!

Phase 1, which included 6 new dressing rooms, 3 officials rooms, a meeting room, disabled facilities and a cricket scorer’s room was completed in July of 2025 with a brilliant opening night enjoyed by all.
