About Us

Garstang Community Sports Club provides changing facilities for local sport in Garstang. It is made up of 5 member sports: Cricket, Football, Rugby, Kayaking and Tennis. Alongside this, it has a bar, which is now run by The Riverside Tap House.

The original clubhouse was build in 1993 by volunteers. Extensive building work took place in 2024-25 to redevelop the existing changing facilities. Three new sets of dressing rooms, alongside a Meeting Room and Cricket Scorer’s Room was build at the end of the existing building. The Club will be forever grateful for the support that was received throughout the course of the build and you can read more about it here: https://garstangsc.co.uk/2026/09/09/2024-25-club-renovations/.

In 2026, the clubhouse was expanded into the old dressing rooms to make a new enlarged space. Tom and Sam came on board and took over the bar and will open as The Riverside Tap House in October 2026.

The Sports Club facilitates the sporting activities of its members. It is run by a Management Committee comprised of representatives of each club, alongside independent members.
