Carrs is a family-owned business founded over 200 years ago, in 1820 by James Carr. It remains in the same family today, seven generations on.
Their shop in the centre of town stocks jewellery and giftware for every occasion. They have collections of diamond and gemstone jewellery in platinum, gold, white gold and sterling silver. They are stockists of jewellery brands including Kit Heath, Clogau, Ti Sento and Chlobo. Our giftware brands include Moorcroft, Waterford crystal and Royal Selangor Pewter. Each piece of jewellery stocked is handpicked by their specialist team.
Alongside stocking well known brands, Carrs design and craft jewellery in our onsite workshop. Whether you’d like to remodel a family treasure, or bring your unique design ideas to life, their team is here to guide you through every stage of your bespoke journey.
Besides jewellery, they offer watch brands, including luxury pre-owned watches from the likes of Rolex, Cartier, Tag Heuer and Omega. You can also get your pieces (jewellery and watches) repaired, whether its cleaning or polishing or full remodelling. They also offer onsite valuations.
